Guide

See which Meta ad brings every Telegram member.

Meta can see the click on your ad, but not what happens inside Telegram. Without help, you cannot tell which campaign or ad actually brought members, and Meta cannot optimise for them. A TrackTele landing page closes that gap.

Why Telegram is a blind spot for Meta

Your ad sends people to Telegram, and Telegram does not report joins back to Meta. So Meta only knows that someone clicked. It cannot tell a member from a bounce, and it cannot learn which audiences and creatives bring real members.

How TrackTele connects the two

  • Your ad links to your TrackTele landing page, which records the campaign and ad the visitor came from.
  • The Join button gives that visitor their own invite link, so their join request can be matched back to them.
  • When the join request arrives in your channel, TrackTele sends a Subscribe event to Meta for that real person, with the ad information attached.
  • Along the way, PageView, ViewContent and Lead are sent too, so Meta sees the whole path.

What you can do with it

  • Compare campaigns and ads by real members, not by clicks.
  • Turn off the ads that bring clicks but no members.
  • Let Meta optimise for Subscribe, so it finds more people who actually join.
  • Watch it live on your dashboard, per campaign.

Questions

Which events does TrackTele send to Meta?
PageView, ViewContent and Lead from the landing page, and Subscribe when a real member requests to join your channel. Each is sent from the browser and from our server, with the same event ID, so Meta counts it once.
Does it work if people join from their phone?
Yes. The whole flow is built for phones: the landing page, the invite link and the Telegram app.
